Conference Venue
IHPST 2017 conference will be held at Hacettepe University (Eğitim Fakültesi  B Blok), Beytepe Campus.
​
Hacettepe University is a major state university in Turkey with around 50,000 students and 3500 academic staff. The university has 14 faculties, 9 schools, 1 conservatory, 14 institutes and 104 research centres. The Faculty of Education is able to meet the challenge of contemporary education through its highly qualified academic staff, who are open to change and development and who also benefit from international experience and cooperation. The faculty has 19 programmes under seven departments (Computer Education and Instructional Technology, Educational Sciences, Mathematics and Science Education, Special Education, Social Sciences and Turkish Education, Foreign Language Education and Elementary Education).
Internet Access: Participants can use a Wi Fi access with a guest account or can get online with eduroam on campus. A stationary shop, where participants can print their papers or posters available on campus.

To reach the venue by public transport, take ANKARA METRO (M2, KIZILAY-ÇAYYOLU) and takeoff at "BEYTEPE" metro station. From there you need to take a shuttle bus (550 BEYTEPE METRO Ä°STASYONU-BEYTEPE KAMPUSU), which will take you to the university. You need to take off the bus at Hacettepe University Faculty of Education. Coordinates: 39°52'20.6"N 32°44'08.0"E

Welcome reception and Dinner will be at Beyaz Ev Restaurant at 19.15-21.00 on July 4 2017. After Keynote 1, a bus will take participants to Beyaz Ev Restaurant at 19.05. After the dinner, a bus will take participants to the conference venue and Hacettepe Metro station.

Conference Banquet (Gala Dinner) will be at Günaydın Et Çayyolu Restaurant at 19.00-21.00 on July 6 2017. After the conference program on July 6, a bus will take participants to the Restaurant. After the dinner a bus will take participants to the conference venue and Hacettepe Metro station.

Guided Tour: There will be a tour to Old Town, Ankara Castle, Rahmi M. Koc Museum (Mirror of the Industrial Legacy) on July 5. Just after lunch a bus will take participants to Old Town, Ulus 13.30. After the visit, the bus (the first bus will leave at 18.00 and second bus will leave at 20.00) will take participants to the conference venue and Hacettepe Metro station or another metro station on the way back.
